Doug-JonesDoug Jones is an international infrastructure and dispute resolution lawyer, and a Sydney-based partner in the Australian law firm of Clayton Utz, where he heads the National Construction and Major Projects Group. Doug practices in both contentious and transactional matters within Australasia and internationally. He also teaches international arbitration and construction as a Professorial Fellow at Melbourne University and as an Adjunct Professor at Notre Dame and Murdoch Universities, Australia.

His expertise in International Arbitration and Construction has regularly been recognised by his peers.

Doug is the President of the Dispute Review Boards Australasia (DRBA), President of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) and Global President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) 2011.

Doug continues to be internationally recognised for his expertise in construction and dispute resolution.

In 1999, Doug was made a Member of the Order of Australia services to Construction Law and Dispute Resolution, recognising thirty years contribution in those areas.
